Sept 7-- My guest will be Steven Cramer. Steven directs the low-residency MFA program in creative writing at Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass.
He recently released a collection of poetry: "Goodbye to the Orchard."

Aug 3- My guest will be Lo Galluccio. Lo is a vocalist/poet, who will be releasing a collection: "Hot Rain" in Aug. 2004. Lo has performed at the Knitting Factory and La MaMa in NYC. She recently read from her work at the Zeitgeist Gallery in Cambridge and The B.U. Bookstore.

July 27-- My guest will be Diana Der-Hovanessian. Diana is the president
of The New England Poetry Club, that was started by Amy Lowell.

June 15. My guest will be Rose Gardina. Rose is the founder of the Boston Girl Guide. Rose champions emerging writers, musicians, and is a well-known Gay rights activist. She also has interviewed many of the better-known Rock, Folk, and Punk figures in the area. Let's hear her story.

June 8 My guest will be translator, poet, and novelist David Slavitt. David is now taking a new turn in his illustrious literary career....he is running for Tim Toomey's seat in the State Legislature( Mass.) Let's hear about what makes this guy tick!

May 25 My guest will be Louisa Solano. Louisa is the owner of the Grolier Bookshop
in Harvard Square. The Grolier is the most prominent all-Poetry store in the country. Louisa has worked there for over 40 years. She has quite a story to tell--join us!

Tues May 4 at 5PM my guest will be poet and performance artist Ryk McIntyre of Somerville, Mass. Rick debuted on the poetry scene in 1980 and then 1987, at Stone Soup Poets among others. He was the host of the Redbone's Open Mic venue in Davis Square, Somerville, and has been a member of the cast of Poetry-Off-Broadway at the Jimmy Tingle Theatre. He is also a winner of a Cambridge Poetry Award (2004)

April 27 5Pm My guest will be Richard Freeman. Richard Freeman is a multi-talented artist, who studied painting with Fairfield Porter, and befriended his wife and poet Anne Porter. He was also for years the photographer for "The Planet Girls" a women's performance group based in Somerville. Freeman is currently connected with Cambridge's Out of the Blue Art Gallery. He has interesting things to share with us about the NYC and Boston Art Scene.

April 20 Tuesday 5Pm Channel 3 SCAT My guest will be Shirley Gerald Ware founder of Fresh! Literary Magazine. Shirley started this successful Somerville, Mass. magazine three years ago, and it is still going strong. She also is the author of several novels...Join me with Ms. Ware

March 30 My guest will be poet Joanna Nealon. Nealon, blind since age 19, will be releasing a poetry collection with Somerville's Ibbetson Street Press LIVING IT. Nealon is a former Fulbright Scholar, and the author of several poetry collections.

On March 9 Nancy Mehegan and Sophia Lintz will be my guest. Both are representatives and writers with 96INC, a Boston literary magazine and arts organization that involves young people

Tuesday Feb24 5PM My guest will be poet, performer James Van Looy. James has studied with Etienne Decroux ( the teacher of the mime,Marcel Marceau), has run poetry groups at St. Frances House in Boston for the homeless, and is currently in a theatrical troupe Cosmic Spelunker Theatre )that performs throughout the area.

March 16 --I will have Boston Globe Columnist and poet Ellen Steinbaum, who will talk about her poetry and the one woman play she will perform, CenterPiece.

Feb 3 5Pm Tim Gager co-founder of the Somerville News Writers festival, founder of the Dire Reader Series, author of the poetry collection From the Same Corner of the Bar, co-editor of The Out of the Blue Writers Unite Anthology and author of numerous short story collections, the most recent Short Street, will be my guest.

On Jan 20 at 5Pm Somerville Poets and writers Brittani Sonnenberg, Tanya Larkin and Sadaf Qureshi will join me to discuss their work. Each writer has been included in the PLOUGHSHARES:
Emerging Writers Issue, that was recently released.

On Jan 6 at 5PM Channel 3: My guest will be Mitch Evich. Mitch is the author of THE CLANDESTINE NOVELIST. It is a hilarious novel about a young man's 15 year quest to carry on the work of John Steinbeck. Evich is a Somerville resident, and his work has appeared in the new renaissance, Mystic River Review, and others.

On Dec 16 at 5Pm My guest will be local writer Adam Pachter. Adam is the author of ASH, and a winner of the Improper Bostonian Writers Award. Adam is a graduate of Harvard and the Univ. of Chicago. He is trained as a lawyer, but still engages with his love of fiction writing. What makes this guy tick? Find out on SCAT Channel 3

On Dec 2 my guest will be poet Shin Yu Pai. Shin has released her first poetry collection EQUIVALANCE. She is the recipient of a Cambridge Arts Council Grant (2003), and is a practicing artist with numerous exhibitions to her credit.

Nov 11 my guest will be Somerville poet, playwright, journalist, Simmons College Professor, Afaa Michael Weaver. Weaver just finished editing an anthology on the Black Family, THESE HANDS I KNOW ( Sarabande), and has had numerous poetry collections out, the most recent MULTITUDES.
