Feb 8 2005 My guest will be Chad Parenteau. Chad won a "Cambridge Poetry Award" for his collection of poetry: "Self Portrait in Fire." Chad's work has appeared in the "Ibbetson Street Press," "Boston Poet.com," and other print and online publications. He has read extensively throughout the Boston area.
Tues Jan 25th 2005 my guest will be Somerville poet, singer, and writer C.D. Collins. C.D. has a new CD out "Subtracting Down," that is a combination of music and spoken word. C.D. is a member of "The Writer's Room" of Boston, and the winner of a Cambridge Poetry Award. Her poetry, short stories, etc... have been widely published. http://www.cdcollins.com

Jan 4th 2005 at 5PM my guest will be Somerville poet Gary Duehr. Duehr has just released a poetry collection:" potato chips for dinner." Duehr is an NEA grant winner, a writer for Art/New England, director of the "Invisible Cities Group,", and he teaches at Boston University, Bunker Hill Community College and Lesley University.

McCarthy is the founder of the online journal: " Heat City Review." http://heatcityreview.com and is editing poet Hugh Fox's memoir "Our Gang," for the Ibbetson Street Press. McCarthy is a Somerville, Mass. native, and has had her poetry and fiction published in various online and print journals.

Sept 21 at 7Pm Poet to Poet will host "Play on Words" as part of the Somerville Arts Council's "Windows Art Project" Poets and fiction writers will read pieces about play. There will be a studio audience, and it will be aired three to four times in the following weeks. My guests will be
Robert K. Johnson, Steve Almond, Timothy Gager, Lo Galluccio, Ian Thal, Janet Cormier, and Deborah Priestly.

He recently released a collection of poetry: "Goodbye to the Orchard."
Aug 3- My guest will be Lo Galluccio. Lo is a vocalist/poet, who will be releasing a collection: "Hot Rain" in Aug. 2004. Lo has performed at the Knitting Factory and La MaMa in NYC. She recently read from her work at the Zeitgeist Gallery in Cambridge and The B.U. Bookstore.
July 27-- My guest will be Diana Der-Hovanessian. Diana is the president
of The New England Poetry Club, that was started by Amy Lowell.

June 15. My guest will be Rose Gardina. Rose is the founder of the Boston Girl Guide. Rose champions emerging writers, musicians, and is a well-known Gay rights activist. She also has interviewed many of the better-known Rock, Folk, and Punk figures in the area. Let's hear her story.
June 8 My guest will be translator, poet, and novelist David Slavitt. David is now taking a new turn in his illustrious literary career....he is running for Tim Toomey's seat in the State Legislature( Mass.) Let's hear about what makes this guy tick!
May 25 My guest will be Louisa Solano. Louisa is the owner of the Grolier Bookshop
in Harvard Square. The Grolier is the most prominent all-Poetry store in the country. Louisa has worked there for over 40 years. She has quite a story to tell--join us!

Tues May 4 at 5PM my guest will be poet and performance artist Ryk McIntyre of Somerville, Mass. Rick debuted on the poetry scene in 1980 and then 1987, at Stone Soup Poets among others. He was the host of the Redbone's Open Mic venue in Davis Square, Somerville, and has been a member of the cast of Poetry-Off-Broadway at the Jimmy Tingle Theatre. He is also a winner of a Cambridge Poetry Award (2004)

April 27 5Pm My guest will be Richard Freeman. Richard Freeman is a multi-talented artist, who studied painting with Fairfield Porter, and befriended his wife and poet Anne Porter. He was also for years the photographer for "The Planet Girls" a women's performance group based in Somerville. Freeman is currently connected with Cambridge's Out of the Blue Art Gallery. He has interesting things to share with us about the NYC and Boston Art Scene.
